When not trying to figure out the meaning of life, he can be found grousing about politics, doing crossword puzzles, playing Scrabble, rooting for the San Antonio Spurs, working on physical fitness, especially playing pick-up basketball, and enjoying the mountains of West Texas and Southwest Colorado.
