Paul T. O' Connor spent more than forty years in journalism, covering North Carolina politics through his column, and has appeared on CNN, C-Span, and public radio. He taught for 30 years at UNC-Chapel Hill's journalism school, mentoring students who are now thriving in journalism across the country. A New Haven, Conn., native, he holds degrees from Notre Dame and the University of Minnesota. He lives in Durham, N.C., with his wife and son. Paul T.
